The "B" doors were made after GM Wind Tunneled the car after the '96 season
To improved airflow, GM had us reduced the center body line in the middle of the door (the line will line up flush with the front end and quarter panel). We also made a smaller door handle hole and "flushed" window with roof. The changes got rid of the "step" up from the back of window to the roof "B" pillar. (see photos) Factory door handles can be cut down to fit smaller hole.
